72% of virus fatalities in ‘first wave’ had high blood pressure
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleSeventy-two percent of the virus fatalities in the so-called “first wave” of the pandemic from March to May suffered from high blood pressure, according to the Kan public broadcaster, which cites a Health Ministry breakdown of the data.
It says 50% had preexisting cardiac conditions, 40% had diabetes, and another 40% suffered from unspecified “neurological problems.”
