Al Jazeera journalist reportedly killed in Gaza; IDF spokesman says he was ‘a terrorist in every sense’

An IDF strike killed Al Jazeera correspondent Mohammed Washah while he was in a vehicle in western Gaza City, media outlets in the Strip report.
The IDF has not yet issued an official statement on the killing, but Arabic-language IDF spokesman Avichay Adraee writes on X that “this is not a journalist, but a Hamas terrorist in every sense of the word,” alongside past images of him holding a weapon.
