Arkia to fly Israelis home via Athens and Taba border route

Israeli carrier Arkia announces that it will start to operate special flights from Athens in Greece to Taba in Egypt today to help stranded travelers return home via land border crossing following the closure of Israel’s airspace amid US-Israel attacks on Iran.
The Arkia flights will be operated using Electra’s Airbus A320 aircraft to allow passengers flying from Athens to Taba International Airport and then cross the Taba land border with Egypt into Israel. Travelers can depart Israel via the route.
Flights are available for purchase on the Arkia website and through travel agents only.
