Belgian suspects recently back from Syria
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe anti-terror raid in the town of Verviers was directed at three individuals who recently returned from Syria.
Witnesses say police broke into the suspected hideout of the suspects as snipers were watching over them from roofs nearby.
According to Belgian French-speaking paper La Libre, the Belgian government is mulling raising the terror alert level in the country from 2 to 3 (on a scale of 4).
