Court further shortens today’s Netanyahu trial hearing
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleToday’s hearing in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s corruption trial has been further shortened and will be held in the early evening.
Yesterday, the judges rejected a request by the premier’s lawyers to cancel the hearing, but they made it later and shorter than usual and said it would be held from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Today, the defense asked the court to further shorten the cross-examination testimony and have it run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., citing an urgent defense and diplomatic schedule.
The court partially accepts this request, saying the hearing will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
