‘Criticism of the US should be toned down’
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleEnvironmental Protection Minister Amir Peretz tells Israel Radio that Israel should tone down its public criticism of the United States in the wake of its latest ceasefire proposal. The Hatnua parliamentarian also calls for PA President Mahmoud Abbas and Egypt to lead ceasefire efforts in place of Qatar.
Peretz also criticizes ministers on the right who are assailing the PM for agreeing to a humanitarian truce. “The conduct of Netanyahu and the cabinet is well-informed and brings international legitimacy.”
