DC car-ramming unlikely terrorism, police say
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA woman described as “erratic and aggressive” drove a vehicle into a US Capitol Police cruiser near the Capitol and was taken into custody, police say.
Shots were fired, but the incident appeared to be criminal in nature with “no nexus to terrorism,” says Capitol Police spokeswoman Eva Malecki.
No one was injured. She says the US Capitol remains open.
