Dedy Simhi reportedly set to join Gantz’s Blue and White party

Benny Gantz’s Blue and White party is expected to soon announce a joint run with former Israeli Fire and Rescue Services Commissioner Dedy Simhi, who threw his hat into the political ring in early May, according to Hebrew media reports.
Simhi, a frequent commentator and analyst on Israeli TV channels, lost his son, Staff Sgt. Guy Simhi, when he was killed battling the Hamas invasion of southern Israel on October 7.
Gantz, whose party has been polling at or below the electoral threshold, is reportedly also in talks with Yoaz Hendel’s Reservists party as well as former Beit Shemesh mayor Aliza Bloch.
