Dieudonné show in Metz nixed by hall operator

A show scheduled for Friday by Dieudonné, who has been investigated for Facebook comments inciting terrorism and has been convicted of anti-Semitic actions, has been canceled.

The operator of the hall in the city of Metz where Dieudonné was scheduled to appear announced Thursday that the show will not take place.

Dieudonné has been the subject of investigation since Monday when he paraphrased the #JeSuisCharlie hashtag and wrote on Facebook “Je me sens Charlie Coulibaly,” or “I feel like Charlie Coulibaly,” referencing the name of the Charlie Hebdo magazine and also the name of Amedy Coulibaly, one of the terrorists who attacked the editorial offices of the magazine last week.
