Farmers protesting proposed agricultural reforms head to Jerusalem

Traffic jams are reported on the main highway leading to Jerusalem as a large convoy of farmers protesting proposed agricultural reforms make their way to the capital.

The farmers oppose proposals to make it easier to import fresh produce and to cancel local production quotas, which the reforms’ backers say will help lower high food prices.
