Fire traps several in monastery near Even Sapir
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAt the Monastery of St. John in the Wilderness, just outside Moshav Even Sapir, police and emergency rescue teams are working to evacuate several people trapped therein, Ynet reports.
Firefighters have ramped up their efforts to contain the blaze outside Jerusalem, deploying a total of eight aircraft and more than 100 rescue workers.
