Firefighters battle blazes as country swelters
Brush fires are continuing to burn across the country, as high heat combines with dry conditions to create ideal circumstances for blazes.
Firefighting crews are battling blazes outsaide Jerusalem, including near Abu Ghosh, outside the town of Mata and out Mount Sansan west of the city. Blazes are also reported outside Kfar Yona near Netanya and other places, leading to some temporary road closures.
