France ‘assessing how we can help’ Israel with fires

France is “currently assessing how we can help in the best way possible,” a French diplomat tells The Times of Israel.

Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar called his French counterpart Jean-Noel Barrot earlier this evening to ask for assistance in battling wildfires west of Jerusalem.
