Gallant meets released hostage Yelena Trufanov, vows to try and bring her son home

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant meets with the family members of hostages held in Gaza — including Yelena Trufanov, who was freed last week, and whose son Sasha is still held captive.
“When the military activity advances, the pressure on Hamas rises and so does the chance of returning more hostages,” Gallant tells the group.
The minister says that “in the name of the entire security services, I am telling you that we are doing everything we can with full commitment” to bring the remaining hostages home.
“In every military action, the consideration of the hostages is taken into account,” he adds.
