Gantz offers to help put out Greece fires
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleDefense Minister Benny Gantz speaks with his Greek counterpart, Nicholas Pangiotopoulos, following the wave of wildfires that have hit Greece in recent days.
Gantz offers Pangiotopoulos Isreal’s help in dealing with the fires by supplying flame retardants and aerial assistance to Greece.
Pangiotopoulos thanks Gantz for the offer and the two agree that “should it be needed, the Ministry of Defense will be ready to assist its Greek friends and partners,” according to a statement from Gantz’s office.
