Germany denounces Spicer’s Hitler comparisons
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleGerman Chancellor Angela Merkel’s spokesman says contemporary comparisons with Nazi atrocities are generally ill-advised, after White House press secretary Sean Spicer apologized for an “insensitive” Hitler analogy.
“Any comparison of current situations with the crimes of National Socialism leads to nothing good,” the spokesman, Steffen Seibert, tells reporters when asked about Spicer’s remarks.
