‘Hamas may be looking for a way out’

“It seems as though Hamas is starting to look for a way out,” Channel 2’s Middle East commentator Ehud Ya’ari says.

Ya’ari assesses that the exit strategy may come at the price of the release of some of the rearrested Shalit prisoners who were detained in waves of massive sweeps during Israel’s 18-day operation to find the kidnappers of three Israeli teenagers abducted on June 12 and found murdered on June 30.

“The problem is, there is no one to broker the deal,” says Ya’ari.
