In first since war's outbreak, Hamas urges Iran not to target Arab neighbors

While condemning the “American-Zionist aggression” against Iran, Hamas urges the Islamic Republic not to target its Arab neighbors in the closest thing to criticism from the Gaza-based terror group since the beginning of the war.

“While affirming the right of the Islamic Republic of Iran to respond to this aggression by all available means in accordance with international norms and laws, [Hamas] calls upon the brothers in Iran to avoid targeting neighboring countries,” Hamas says in a statement.

Hamas had been avoiding condemning its main financial backer since the beginning of the war, instead only calling out the US and Israeli strikes that began the conflict.
