Herzog briefs Senate Majority Leader Schumer about ongoing war

President Isaac Herzog has briefed Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer about the ongoing Israeli war against Hamas.
Schumer is currently leading a bipartisan Senate delegation in China and phoned Herzog from the US Embassy in Beijing.
Schumer told President Herzog that “he stood firm in the bipartisan support in the United States Senate for Israel and stands ready to do whatever it takes to ensure Israel has the resources it needs,” the senate majority leader’s office says in a statement.
