Herzog plans Labor leadership primary
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLabor leader Isaac Herzog tasks the party’s secretary-general, MK Hilik Bar, with setting a date for a leadership election.
The decision on the date will be made in consultation with all those involved, Channel 2 says.
The plan comes as Herzog — who also heads the opposition and the Zionist Union bloc that includes Labor, is facing calls to resign over his abortive bid to take the party into Netanyahu’s coalition.
