IDF awaiting order for ground incursion, Gantz says
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleIDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz says the army is prepared for a ground incursion into the Gaza Strip and is awaiting government orders.
“Nothing is stopping us from going ahead,” Gantz stresses during a visit to the paratroopers’ training base. “The army does not need a straw to break the camel’s back for a ground incursion, but a political directive,” he says, according to Ynet.
