IDF: Human error or technical problem caused false alarm in Tel Aviv
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe IDF says the sirens that blared in parts of Tel Aviv and suburbs south of the city were caused by either human error or a technical malfunction.
In a statement, the army says its Home Front Command is still investigating the matter to determine which of the two caused the incoming rocket alert system to go off shortly before 3 a.m. in central Israel.
“The Home Front Command is continuing its investigation in order to draw conclusions and learn everything possible,” the army says.
