IDF: Human error or technical problem caused false alarm in Tel Aviv

The IDF says the sirens that blared in parts of Tel Aviv and suburbs south of the city were caused by either human error or a technical malfunction.

In a statement, the army says its Home Front Command is still investigating the matter to determine which of the two caused the incoming rocket alert system to go off shortly before 3 a.m. in central Israel.

“The Home Front Command is continuing its investigation in order to draw conclusions and learn everything possible,” the army says.
