Israel’s military warns residents of Tyre in southern Lebanon to evacuate as it continues to target the Iran-backed Lebanese terror group Hezbollah.
“Urgent warning to the residents of the city of Tyre, specifically in Shabriha… you must evacuate your homes immediately,” the Israeli military’s Arabic-language spokesman, Avichay Adraee, writes on social media, illustrated by an image of the area to be targeted with a tower block highlighted.
“To guarantee your safety, evacuate your homes immediately and move north of the Zahrani River,” he writes.
“Hezbollah terrorist activities are forcing the IDF to take action against it with force. The IDF does not intend to harm you,” he writes.
The entire city is already under a blanket evacuation order, and the IDF has repeatedly ordered its residents to leave in recent weeks.
