IDF says it destroyed Hezbollah command tunnel near UNIFIL post

The Israeli army says it demolished an underground Hezbollah command center, built beneath a construction material factory near a peacekeeper post in southern Lebanon.
During operations in the village of Haddatha, inside the IDF’s south Lebanon buffer zone, troops uncovered a 55-meter- (180-foot)-long tunnel, the military says.
The IDF says the tunnel featured three rooms, and it was used by Hezbollah as a command center. It was built beneath a construction material factory and located some 300 meters from a UNIFIL building, according to the army.
Nearby, troops also located a pit with dozens of weapons in it, the IDF adds.
Combat engineers blew up the tunnel this week.
