IDF spokesman’s press conference cut short due to heightened alert at military HQ

IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin’s press conference was cut short due to the military headquarters going on heightened alert.

While taking questions at the Kirya military headquarters in Tel Aviv, a loudspeaker can be heard announcing that the base is going into “defensive standby,” an alert meaning that it is preparing for an attack.

As of now, no ballistic missiles have been launched from Iran.
