Interior minister’s wife posts offensive Obama tweet, apologizes
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe wife of Israel’s Interior Minister Silvan Shalom, Judy Nir-Mozes — whose family owns Israel’s most-circulated daily Yedioth Ahronoth — published a post on Twitter insulting US President Barack Obama, before deleting it and apologizing, saying it was a “stupid joke.”
Mozes published a tweet asking: “Do u know what Obama coffee is? Black and weak.”

She deleted it minutes later but not before screenshots were taken of the post and widely circulated on the platform.
She then published an apology.
I apologize, that was a stupid joke somebody told me.
