Interior minister’s wife tries damage control after offensive Obama tweet
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleFollowing the uproar over the offensive tweet about Barack Obama sent out by the wife of Interior Minister Silvan Shalom, Judy Nir-Mozes tries some more damage control by posting two more apologetic tweets.
In one, she addresses the US president, without tagging him, repeating that the post was a “stupid joke” that she should not have posted.
In the second, she jokes that she hopes her marriage will remain intact once her husband lands in Israel and hears about the incident.
Her original post, since deleted, asked: “Do u know what Obama coffee is? Black and weak.”
President Obama I shouldnt have written the inappropriate joke I heard. I like people no matter about their race and religion.
