Is most recent IS video fake?
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleExperts who have examined the most recent Islamic State video say it is edited and potentially fake, Haaretz reports.
According to the experts, it appears the video was filmed not in sunlight but using spot lighting. Additionally, the wind is seen to move the garments of one of the hostages but not the other.
Indeed, in the still image below, despite the strong sunlight, it seems like the shadows cast by the hostages’ heads on their necks fall in opposite directions.
