The leader of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad vows to hit back at Israel after the opening round of Israeli airstrikes.
PIJ secretary-general Ziad Nakhaleh, who is visiting Iran, says, “We are going into battle. There are no ceasefires after an attack.”
Apparently calling on Hamas and other terror groups to join PIJ in hitting back at Israel, he adds: “This is a test for all parts of the resistance.”
He adds that all Israeli towns, including Tel Aviv, are on the terror group’s radar and should be prepared to be targeted.
Israel has said that it has thus far targeted Islamic Jihad sites only — and that it launched the strikes because Islamic Jihad cells were preparing to fire at Israeli targets.
