From Israel to appoint new Jordan envoy in effort to mend ties — report

Jordan says it will not permit Ambassador Einat Schlein and her staff have to return to their posts in Amman until an Israeli embassy guard who shot dead two Jordanian nationals in July is brought to trial.
The incident has put a damper on already delicate diplomatic relations between Israel and Jordan.
