Israeli deputy PM attends Abbas speech

UNITED NATIONS — The Israeli deputy prime minister, Silvan Shalom, who has been tasked with responsibility for Israeli-Palestinian peace talks, enters the UN General Assembly plenum in the middle of Abbas’s speech.

Meanwhile, two anti-Zionist Jews from the Neturei Karta group are on the press balcony, draped in Palestinian flags.
