Defense Minister Israel Katz meets with the new Israeli Air Force chief, Maj. Gen. Omer Tischler.
“During the meeting, the minister was presented with the operational situation assessment and the Air Force’s preparedness across all arenas, alongside the continued force build-up,” Katz’s office says.
Tischler became Air Force chief two months ago.
