Foreign Minister Yair Lapid speaks with his Emirati counterpart, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Lapid’s office says.
“Sheikh Abdullah strongly and sharply condemned the terrorist attack in Elad, offered condolences to the families of those killed, and congratulated Minister Lapid on Independence Day,” the Foreign Ministry says in a statement.
“The two expressed hope that days of peace and security will come to the residents of Israel,” the statement adds.
