Likud MK says ‘Jewish state’ bill must pass before other legislation can advance
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleLikud MK Avi Dichter informs coalition parties they must first pass his “Jewish state” bill before any proposed laws they favor can advance.
“This is the flagship legislation of the Likud and a very important law for the State of Israel and the Jewish people. The coalition factions are aware that the path to passing their laws depends upon the Jewish state bill passing first,” tweets Dichter after Netanyahu says he’ll push to pass the legislation into law before the Knesset breaks for its summer recess later this month.
