Man dies in jail cell at Kiryat Gat police station
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleA man in his fifties has died in his jail cell in a police station in the southern city of Kiryat Gat, police say in a statement.
A police officer was in the cell at the time, the statement says, adding that medical treatment was administered to the man before his death was certified.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated, police say, and the body has been sent for a full autopsy to determine the cause of death.
