Netanyahu praises Amona residents
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praises the residents of the Amona outpost for accepting a deal that would allow them to move to an adjacent plot of land and prevent a violent evacuation of the settlement.
”I want to praise the people of Amona,” Netanyahu tells the weekly Likud Knesset faction meeting. ”They took the right decision for them, for the settlement and for the State.”
Echoing his statements at yesterday’s cabinet meeting, he reiterated his party’s commitment to the settlement project.
“We will continue to strengthen and build up the settlements,” he says to applause. “There has not been and will not be a government that supports the settlements more than us.”
