Obama describes charged meeting with Netanyahu
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleUS President Barack Obama describes a charged, undated meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an interview with journalist Jeffrey Goldberg of the Atlantic magazine.
In the interview, Obama says he felt Netanyahu was condescending.
“Bibi, you have to understand something,” Obama quotes himself as saying. “I’m the African American son of a single mother, and I live here, in this house. I live in the White House. I managed to get elected president of the United States. You think I don’t understand what you’re talking about, but I do.”
