PM hails heroism of injured border policeman
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GooglePrime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hails the heroism of the Border Police officer who was critically injured this morning in a stabbing attack in Jerusalem. The officer was stabbed in the heart, neck and chest but managed to shoot his attacker, critically injuring him.
In a conversation with Border Police Commander Amos Yaakov today, Netanyahu wished the injured officer a speedy recovery and praised his actions.
“On behalf of all Israelis, tell this fighter that he is a great hero. He acted with exceptional heroism and is deserving of high esteem. I commend both his determination and that of all security service personnel who – time and again – thwart the many attempts to attack us,” said Netanyahu, according to a statement released to the media.
