Police identify Elad terror suspects as two men from Jenin

Police on Friday identify the suspects in the deadly terror attack in Elad as two youths from the West Bank city of Jenin.

Police say that they believe that As’ad Yousef As’ad al-Rifa’i , 19, and Subhi Emad Subhi Abu Shqeir, 20, both from Jenin are the two terrorists who carried out the attack in Elad.

Police call on the public to provide any information as to the whereabouts of the two men.

Security forces launched a massive manhunt for the attackers after they killed three people and wounded seven others in the Independence Day attack in the largely ultra-Orthodox town of Elad.

Witnesses say they attacked their victims with an ax and a knife before fleeing.
