Police set up ‘war room’ to combat spread of false info on election day
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Israel Police announces it setting up a “war room” for tomorrow’s elections to combat the spread of false information that could effect voting.
A police spokeswoman says officers are ready to handle “rumors and disinformation” that could influence the voting process.
The spokeswoman says police are also prepared to deal with fake information about the coronavirus being spread.
