Ra’am MK says Mansour Abbas at Jordanian royal palace for iftar meal

A Ra’am lawmaker says the Islamist party’s leader, Mansour Abbas, is currently in Jordan.
“He received an invitation for an iftar meal at the royal palace,” MK Walid Taha tells news site Kul al-Arab, according to the Kan public broadcaster.
Taha says Abbas may also meet with Palestinian Authority officials, but no date has been set.
Ra’am is part of the ruling coalition, but recently froze its membership as the party faces pressure over unrest at Jerusalem’s Temple Mount, which Jordan has also criticized Israel over.
