Israeli security forces say they have arrested a terrorist involved in a 2007 shooting attack near the West Bank village of al-Funduq, in which Israeli civilian Ido Zoldan was killed.

According to a joint statement from the IDF, Shin Bet and Israel Police, Shadi Jumaa was arrested in the heart of the West Bank city of Qalqilya following a lengthy intelligence and operational effort by the military, the Shin Bet and the police’s elite Gideonim unit (Unit 33).

The statement says Jumaa had recently been released from detention by the Palestinian Authority, where he had been held until now.

He was transferred to the Shin Bet for questioning following his arrest, the statement says.
