Senior Hamas operative killed in Gaza strike last week, IDF says

The chief of Hamas’s “military security” in the terror group’s Rafah Brigade was killed in an Israeli strike in the Gaza Strip last week, the IDF and Shin Bet announce.
Ismail Masri, who was targeted on Tuesday, is described by the military as a “senior figure” in Hamas’s Rafah Brigade, and he was “responsible for advancing activities intended to harm the IDF’s freedom of action in the Gaza Strip.”
“During the war, Masri coordinated the fields of security and counterintelligence in the Rafah Brigade and engaged in attempts to rehabilitate and strengthen military security, to harm our forces,” the IDF adds.
