8 far-right soccer hooligans arrested in Jerusalem
Several dozen far-right supporters of the Beitar Jerusalem soccer club have gathered at the First Station entertainment in the city, about one kilometer from where a protest against Prime Minister Netanyahu is being held.
Video shared by reporters on Twitter shows the La Familia members chanting “death to leftists” and attacking journalists. They also chase after a car that is reportedly carrying Arab passengers.
Eight of the hooligans are arrested as police arrive at the scene. Officers are seen trying to prevent them from marching to the protest at the Prime Minister’s Residence.
