Shas pushing for Western Wall Orthodoxy law
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Shas party is reportedly pushing for a bill that would legislate Orthodox prayer norms at the Western Wall, which entails the separation of men and women. The bill would seek to penalize violators with up to a half a year in prison or a NIS 10,000 ($2,500) fine.
