Sides reportedly close to draft deal
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleAs talks continue in Egypt, Channel 2 reports the sides are close to agreeing on a draft for a long-term ceasefire.
The agreement includes a partial lifting of the Israeli closure on the Strip’s border crossings and the transfer of money into the Strip via the Palestinian Authority.
The channel also announces that Cairo is seeking to have 1,000 Fatah-backed soldiers posted along the Gaza-Egypt border.
