The move comes after Slomiansky’s name was revealed Thursday as the MK from the party suspected of a series of offenses. Police have reportedly opened an investigation into the accusations.
A number of lawmakers, including some from his own party, have called on the MK, 70, to step down from the Knesset altogether until an investigation is completed.
