Thousands of dunams up in smoke as rocket fire from Lebanon sparks massive blaze

Thousands of dunams of agricultural land were burned in a fire caused by a rocket launched from Lebanon that landed in Israel earlier today, according to Channel 12 news.

The blaze, adjacent to the northern kibbutz of Misgav Am, is still not under control, the network says.

Three rockets were fired into northern Israel from Lebanon shortly after noon, causing warning sirens to sound in the Kiryat Shmona area. Two rockets hit open areas, while the third fell short of the border.
