Amid much talk about US President Joe Biden not intending to invite Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House due to the government’s judicial overhaul push, visiting US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy tells an Israeli newspaper that if a White House invitation does not materialize soon — he, McCarthy, will invite the premier to the House.
Speaking to Israel Hayom, the California Republican says Netanyahu is a good friend of the US and that he believes such a visit is overdue and should be held soon, though he does not specify a time.
