West Bank top cop hangs up gun
Add ToI as a Preferred Source on GoogleThe Israeli police commander in charge of the West Bank has announced he is stepping down for “personal reasons.”
“I cherish the privilege that was given me to affect the lives of citizens in Israel and contribute to their safety,” Shlomi Michael says in a statement.
According to Walla, Michael informed freshly minted police commissioner Roni Alsheich of his intention to quit the force after 33 years several weeks ago.
